Each colour highlights a different emotion from the Daily Wellness Knit Scale: Blue is happy; Green is lonely; Orange is relaxed; Grey is anxious; Yellow is useful; Red is insecure and Navy is optimistic.

The Charts of Emotions, above, share the emotions logged on the Daily Wellness Knit Scale at the time of knitting on each day of daily knit journalling; the purpose was to aid the researcher in analysing whether specific stitches, colours, or yarns were used when participants felt a certain way. The Creative Data Visualisations generated from this data are available under the Emotions lens.
